It’s been a minute since the last update. So, the next couple will come out pretty close to one another. Since the awesome ski/climbing adventure we have gutted the van, had a finger heal, got the van stuck in the backwoods and the van has been driven to Vegas and back. But for now, I’ll run you through our last advanture to Smith Rock…
Avoiding rust is the name of the game. Titus was wet after our ski trip. So wet, we had to gut it, seal it up better, and put more insulation in. Specifically, the Pink Panther type. Hopefully this fixed our moisture problem. Also, we have had to have the door painted twice because the door hits the body when it opens and closes (They couldn’t get it right. And still haven’t). Update November 6th, 2015: Ford has been completely unhelpful, dishonest, and disgusting to work with.
So…now we are not sure what to do with the van. Add different storage? Add the water tank? Replace the cabinets? Decisions, decisions…but it hasn’t stopped us from partying on.
So on the way to Smith, Paps was so sweet to allow us to go to Bridal Veil falls. This was awesome and allowed me to play with the camera and he was my model. It’s a beautiful spot in the Gorge.
We went to Smith for the weekend. Beautiful weather! And met up with some of our friends who took wonderful pictures for us.
That is about all. After we arrived home, we went on a quick weekend to Portland to climb and then started getting the van ready for Vegas!
Until next time,
I really want to say thank you to Heather for taking pictures of us. I really appreciate her. She takes some awesome pictures. If you want to see the PNW and all it’s beauty follow her on Instagram at Heather_Anne_87.
